Danny Masterston is to his left in the Getty images (clapping photo)...one of G's Shin partners and a very good friend. Theory! The Bounty must really suck....why do I say that!?!? because they have Gerry out and about generating a buzz. All kinds of sightings and appearances. Jen is notorious for not wanting to promote her films, but Gerry is always willing to do whatever it takes. I think the people involved with TB know it is a bomb and are doing whatever they can to generate some excitement and that means flaunting the Hollywood Hot It Man at parties, premieres etc... PS Damn he looks so sexy...he looks tired, but I like that slightly tired look on my G!

Sundance is the perfect place to go if you are a production partner with your own company like Gerry is. Perfect place to met up and coming directors and writers. For his own slate of movies Gerry seems more interested in independent financing.
He looks great in those photos and even thinner?

Yes he is looking great and yep, Sundance is perfect for making connections vis a vis production. Guy Oseary is another big wig, he is Madonna's manager and business partner and Hillary Swank's manager or at least his firm is her management team, apparently.
When I saw Danny Masterston was there yesterday you knew Gerry was following, no doubt Ariel came back - he's a director or something isn't he?
I almost wonder if Gerry is creating as much buzz without actually mentioning the film itself which might in fact be a clever strategy. People will just go because Gerry is in it.
Given Anniston is producing this hard to believe she can't be bothered, it's coming out of her pocket if the movie fails and her strategy of fauxmances is backlashing. Lords knows one more box office flop and I think she's on ice for a while. On the other hand maybe it's better if she does lay low and let Gerry do the work.

Sony/Columbia is financing The Bounty Hunter and is releasing it They also did The Ugly Truth and the recent Did you Hear about the Morgans? Whether the movie fails or not remains to be seen but Sony will promote the hell out of it and both Gerry and Aniston will be front and center during that blitz. Remember Gerry also has How to Train Your Dragon coming out as well in March and he is already doing publicity for that.
Sundance is an opportunity for him to network on his own behalf and perhaps that of his production company. And its award season in Hollywood, always a good time for actors to be seen at events. That alone is reason for him to be out and about.

He's got three projects to hustle up some money for Evil Twins. Everybody looking for money these days. Much less out there for films overall and esp the smaller films though many smaller films get lucky and deliver big bang for the buck.
For Sony to be willing to market the Bounty Hunter would suggest it is not as bad as some critics arm chair and otherwise suggest. They try not to back losers as a rule not that Sony doesn't miss the mark on occasion.

He is so fecking sexy... I love how he opens buttons on his shirts so I - er, I mean, we can see his chest hair. Thank you, Gerry!! I am not a big fan of JA, but I have to see The Bounty Hunter because of Gerry... that scene where he's wearing a white towel (and because its Gerry, probably nothing underneath) and he gets tasered by JA's character is worth my $8.25 to see this.

Yes, I agree. Love the chesthair, not too much and not too little. Just right. Gotta love a little eyecandy. And yes, I WILL go see The Bounty Hunter. Planning on dragging my sister with me. After the yellow towel scene in Shooters, I will NOT miss out on another chance to see that again. On the BIG screen.

I honestly think I'm skipping BH... I can't even get through the trailer. I want to love it but it looks so bad and I don't want to sit in a cinema cringing the entire time-I love him and admire him to much that this movie just seems like garbage and I have a feeling its going to be a bomb unlike TUT which got trashed critically but ended up being good!!!
I hope I am soooooo wrong! I really do!

Considering how many folks thought Gamer was going to be HUGE, I'll reserve judgement on Bounty Hunter. And TUT had rather lousy buzz too.

Of all the movies there I thought Gamer was the best of the three that came out. Too bad it wasn't bigger than it was.
But, thanks so much for posting this! Wow, he looks great!
