He said it's a blood vessel that just popped in his eye. He just woke up with it. Poor babes. Not sure how these things come about, but I hope he saw a doctor to look at it. twitpic.com/pywzeLooks to be getting worse and spreading...they do that and sometimes they take weeks to clear up. Good thing he is not filming. I had never really sseen such a thing, subconjunctival hemorrhage looked it up on web MD. Nothing can be done to stop it. Nothing can hurry the process it will take up to 2 weeks to clear up after it stops bleeding which can take 24 hours or more. Trauma can cause it, High Blood pressure can cause it but the majority are totally spontaenous.

Maybe Gerry had a hellacious bowel movement.

I had a blood vessel burst in my eye twice. Once I had a bad case of flu so that made sense as I was congested and coughing so much- the other time I have no idea why- I was healthy. It took about a week or so both times to clear finally. It was not painful, I was sick the first time so my eye was the least of my concerns and the second time I got tired of it marring my baby blues, but the Doctor said it just had to run it's course.

I get eye infections alot that look just like this. I literally wake up with them from time to time. They happen to me when I travel alot and rub my eyes from those long overseas flights. My doctor said that some eyes (mine because of my contacts) pick up germs easily and long flights are an incubus for germs. I have a feeling all this traveling and long flights just took it's toll on our baby.
Gerry did say at the Glasgow premiere that he just woke up with his so it reminded me of the infections I get. Mine start out like a little dot and then explode all over my eye. Once they stop bleeding I have steroid eye drops prescribed by my doctor and it clears up my eye in a day or so. I hope he sees a doctor....he needs some meds for it to clear up, if not, it will take a while and could get worse.

Gerry kills me in so many ways! I saw a fan video of him on Youtube this morning at the premiere walking the line and signing. One girls says "How was your birthday party?" - he says, "Great, just great, I had a ball especially the blow job I got from the hooker" and then he proceeds to laugh his ass off. OMG!!!! He is so funny and at times, he is like a little boy who cannot control himself like a hyper kid on Christmas morning. To some that comment would be so off color and offensive, but for me it's comments like this that make me more and more curious and intrigued by him!!!! I just love how he does not give a shit and stays who he is and does not attempt to be all up in himself because he is a big star. My point is this... not sure who heard the woman who ragged on him on the Scottish Radio interview. She was so wrong about him. She hates him for no reason other than he is a big star who lives mostly in the USA and has an American drawl in his Scottish accent. She has no case to call him all up in himself and full of it and a sell out. She instead should be proud that this now Scottish born and bred A-lister is taking time to showcase his movie in Glasgow for the British premiere rather than London. He is so proud to be Scottish and loves his homeland. It was so gross to hear her rant on and on about him being a wanker! Gerry may not be everyone's cup of tea due to comments like this one from the premiere, but one thing he is NOT is a SELL OUT or Phony! He is who is he is and not only does he NOT want to change, he is not going to make apologies for who he is. He will not fit into the cookie cutter mold that Hollywood almost insists it's leading men and women adhere to. Look at what they have done to the likes of Clooney, Pitt, Cruise - you can also see how they are doing this to Chris Pine and Robert Pattison. They take them over mind body and soul! None of the men I mention above seem to have their own personality anymore. Maybe once they did, but now they seem so robotic and processed. Gerry has fought that current and what is extremely impressive and rare is that he has been a success doing it! I really admire thim for that!!! 100% I love how Gerry doesn't give a shit and says what he likes (his media trainer is probably shitting their pants after that comment though. ). I am also glad he isn't cookie cutter Hollywood; those guys seem like Stepford Actors, no life in them whatsoever. If that is what it takes to be named People's sexiest, I hope he never gets it. The women who love him most know that he is by far the sexiest of all those men combined.
