Gerry,
So sorry I have been neglecting our little repartee here. I know you have felt so dismayed at my absence. Rest assured, I am still as enamored of you as ever. You could easily rid yourself of me by ceasing your preeminent sexiness. Ah, but that would be like asking the sun not to shine. I will try to not be so derelict in my note writing duties. Be safe in South Africa.
Ever your loyal fan, (even if I am a total smart-ass sometimes) Okie

LOL! Daphne! You're amazing! Don't worry about the age difference honey, it's not like those of us closer to his age have a chance either, so we can all daydream, right? :-) Better G than Zac Efron or RPat if you ask me! You got it right, honey! :-) Theresa

That's the truth, Theresa!
Gerry,
I hope you're getting some downtime. As ravenous as I am to see you in the public eye again, I'm wishing peace and privacy for you.
God Bless, Okie
I really enjoy writing these little notes. Even though the odds are probably infinitesimal that he will ever see them, I really don't care.

Gerry,
I would like you to combine two of my obsessions for me. If you ever get the chance to be on Top Gear, would you please do it?
Thanks for being a sport, Okie

Gerry,
So how did you like the football game today? You have an open invitation to tailgate with me at my Alma Mater if you're ever this way. By the way, my team is the Pokes!
I hope you're getting to enjoy yourself now that you're back in the crazy States.
Okie

Gerry, I've been waiting for the right opportunity to prepare a message... While out for a lunchtime walk today, I was listening to my playlist and "Hey, Soul Sister" started to play. As I listened to those words, I thought of you and the impact that you have on me and many other lovely ladies in this world and especially this message board. So, returning to the office and hoping not to get fired , I sat in front of my computer and updated the lyrics to that song a little - it made me smile thinking of what your reaction might be Here is the finished product... ENJOY!! Hey, Sweet Scotsman (to the tune of “Hey, Soul Sister” by Train) Hey, hey, hey My lipstick stains should be on your cheek and not my brain I knew I wouldn't forget you, And so I went and let you blow my mind Your sweet moon beam, The sight of you in every single dream I dream I knew if we collided, You're the one I know would surely be my kind Hey Sweet Scotsman, Ain't that RocknRolla on the video, in stereo, The way you move ain't fair, you know?! Hey Sweet Scotsman, I don't want to miss a single thing you do... Tonight Hey, hey,hey Just in time, I'm so glad you have a one-track mind like me You give me inspiration, A game show love connection I can't deny I'm so obsessed, My heart is bound to beat right outside of my chest I believe in you, Like a god you are Adonis, And I know you’re always gonna blow my mind Hey Sweet Scotsman, Ain't that RocknRolla on the video, in stereo, The way you move ain't fair, you know?! Hey Sweet Scotsman, I don't want to miss a single thing you do... Tonight The way you can cut a rug, Watching you's the only drug I need You're so gangsta, the cutest thug, You're the only one I'm dreaming of you see?!? You are yourself everyone can see In fact there's nothing you can't be I want the world to see What you mean to me Hey Sweet Scotsman, Ain't that RocknRolla on the video, in stereo, The way you move ain't fair, you know! Hey Sweet Scotsman, I don't want to miss a single thing you do tonight, Hey Sweet Scotsman, I don't want to miss a single thing you do...tonight Hey, hey, hey Hey, hey,hey Tonight

So cute VZ! I won't be able to listen to that song in the same way ever again. Gerry,
I want you to know how proud you should be of "How to Train Your Dragon". I loved it when I first saw it in the theater. I bought the DVD the day it came out because of how much my boys also enjoyed the movie. My youngest has watched it at least 20 times already! I think I missed much of the character interactions in the theater because I was enthralled with the artwork. Anyway, it is such a good story about being true to yourself and how difficult it can be, even around family members (like a father).
Just want you to know that it has quickly become one of our favorites. Such a good movie and one of which you should certainly be proud. I know you don't have kids, but I want you to know how much "fatherly-ness" can be heard in your voice -- the concern, the consternation, the hope, the defeat, the pride, all of it.
Congratulations on another wonderful project, Okie

Dear Gerry, I've been the most vocal on this site for not liking you hair lately. Me being a hairstylist... I can't help it, it's my thing... Anyway at the Russel Crowe premier last night, you looked FINE. The way your hair was kind of swept back and over to the side. If you are experimenting with styling it, you finally hit pay dirt. Looking good. Love, Your Friendly Neighborhood Webmistress Dianne
