So happy for you Dianne & so grateful for you sharing your experience with us all! So have you showered yet? lol. I know if I was in that close a proximity to Gerry I wouldn't want to wash him off me for a week! Thanks!

LMFAO, GSG!! If there was a way to preserve the DNA and any body oils, aromas, etc., I'd have it bottled and savor it forever...just sayin'!!

lolab2711: I'd make sure I'd clone me a copy of him first before I just bottled anything. Could you imagine the possibilities???

TOTALLY!!! You could make more than one of them, like that Michael Keaton movie...what was it called? You could have a Gerry for every room of the house!
You'd probably need to make a clone of yourself too after a while, cause you'd be totally exhausted, LOL.

Multiplicity. That was the movie. Andie McDowell played his wife...
And Gerry was in "Harrison's Flowers" with Andie...small world.

I hope it's okay to post a comment... so, Di, inquiring minds want to know (or at least I do), what does he smell like? And just how wonderful are his hugs? And he kissed your cheek... I would love to hear him growl his Scottish burr in my ear. You are so lucky, Di, I am so happy for you. He didn't have any cologne on and he just smelled clean, I could smell his breath when he whispered him my ear and he had fresh breath!!!! I felt his beard on the side of my face and it was really soft and I was so surprised when he kissed my cheek and delighted.

How strong did he feel during the hug? I'd be holding on for dear life, LOL!!! Jeff had better send those pics - I want to see the two of you with that sign!! And the embrace, of course! You write so well, had us all on the edge of our seats . . . you got to hug leather-clad Gerry Butler, OMG!!! Look at those biceps!!! And that gorgeous face - I would have fainted after it was all over, I'm sure!! Looks like that girl in the green shirt stole a kiss - he's smiling, so I don't think he minded, heh heh... He was in an awesome mood. While he was talking to me and gal came running around the back of him and kissed him quickly on the cheek without asking and ran back, like a hit and run, and he barely flinched. About his hug, he is really cuddly. It was a genuine warm hug and he was not one bit stiff. And I'm not saying that to brag... like he hugged me and we had a moment no, you can tell that he is just a genuine person and this is not put on. He really is this giving of himself.

Oh, I love your account of the whole day, Dianne..."we risked going to Wendy's, he waved but went away"...and the suspense builds...I'm glad I already knew that you did meet him before reading this, because I would have been on pins and needles reading your story otherwise And then, Wow, he came out, and he saw you and you hugged him, and..and...and...That's just so great, and you are just so lucky. I can only agree with Lola...You got to hug leather-clad Gerry Butler, OM Effin' G!!! Good thing you called him while you were in the crowd...you would have probably missed him if you hadn't. The whole thing is just so awesome. I am so jealous, but so happy for you. The pictures are great, and Gerry looks smokin' HOT!!! Oh, What about kloudancer? Did she get her picture taken too? Thanks Chickie, and no Jeanie Kloudancer didn't get her picture taken or an autograph, just me and the little girl. That was the little girl he said was really cute... My daughter corrected me and said he said, "Isn't she a beauty?" When he saw her instead of what I said he said... I was really in shock the whole time. I may be smiling but my brain was blank....

Oh and I forgot to mention. He is supposed to film really close to my house and I mean within less than five miles, sometime in the very near future. I am going to keep and eye out for Klodancer. I do not intend to try to get close to Gerry again or get an autograph. I mean, how could I improve on what happened, OMG it surpassed my wildest fantasy... Well maybe not WILDEST. But I do want Kloudancer to get her moment so I am going to keep her company along with my daughter. I will be official food getter and stuff cause I don't have to worry about him coming while I'm away.

He really is this giving of himself. Thank you for sharing all the stuff. I’m sure, he is absolutely authentic and that sets him off from the bulk.
