Hey everyone My name is Jana, I'm 23 and I live in Bavaria, Germany. Well, I'm a really obsessive Gerry fan since a year now and I actually don't now how it happened I mean, I always loved Gerry's movies, but one year ago I watched 'law abiding citizen' and it grabbed me, can't say why, but yes.. you will know what I'm trying to say. Hopefully my english is okay and I'm looking forward to a great time here.

Jana! Sounds like you have been Butlered! Sometimes it's busy here and sometimes it's quiet, depending on what Gerry is doing. But there is a lot of history on this Board to keep us going. Hope you have fun! Fifi

Hello! Just registered today. I am Paisley Crabbit. I'm happily married and the mother of our daughter, Jackie. I hazily discovered Gerard Butler several years ago while watching "Her Majesty Mrs. Brown" but forgot to check the credits and forgot...period. I'm so ashamed. Years later, I discovered the film version of "Phantom of the Opera" and thought Erik was knock down dead gorgeous but there was something nagging at me. It wasn't until I saw an interview of this "Gerard Butler" and the heavens opened and angels began to weep in joy when I discovered his real voice and this was the guy from HMMB! Man, had he changed! Completely chuffed to have finally found this man, you'd think I would have been satisfied ... but in the interview his voice was so familiar. My mum (who lives with us) said, "He sounds like your Grandpa." Well, he is from Scotland. Not just Scotland but from my Grandda's home town: Paisley! And a North East boy to boot!
I also had a face to put on my latest manuscript's "hero!"
I'm on Twitter as @sloanesw7 and on Pinterest as Sloane Crabbit. Crabbit is one of the nicknames my grandda had for me as a little girl. I dearly loved that man. He completely spoiled me.
I'm a long time fan of the British Royal Family, hockey, US Presidents and First Ladies, pop culture and historians. And, of course: Gerard Butler. I don't know about you, but based on my grandda's accent I think his name would be more "Jared" sounding? If anyone can confirm or discount it officially, let me know. I'm still new to his fandom.
I'm also a genealogy fan. With my grandda's death, my parents many divorces (ugh!), all the old Paisley contacts and family are lost to me. But I know that as of the late 1920s, we were all over Sneddon, Cotton, Weaver, Renfrew and Gordon Streets. Cheers!

Hello there! I'm Amina,31. I'm Moroccan married to a Maltese man and I have one sweet little girl. The first time I saw Gerry in a movie was 300. I loved the movie so much that it became one of my favorites, but not Gerry. I would fall for him later when I watched the Ugly Truth. It's his easy-going, funny, and soft side of him that caught me and obviously his eyes. He always has that flirty look even when his supposed to be mad or angry. It's true that he can get away with anything.

Welcome Amina, It's a bit quiet here at the moment but there's plenty in the archives to keep you going until Gerry starts his next project! Hope you enjoy the browsing.

Hello.. I've had a bit of "down time" from my usual life since May this year being diagnosed with early stage breast cancer and then having surgery and treatments. ..anyway I was watching a movie called Dear Frankie and thinking who is this guy? I asked Uncle Google and "discovered" Gerry. Totally taken in by his life story, his warmth, humour, passion, etc.. oh..and total dreamyness .. I am now rather obsessed. And so I find myself here with loads of other like minded obsessees. How wonderful is this little place you have here..just the place to spend some "Gerrytime" and escape from the yuck of chemo. I'm not really familiar with the workings but there doesn't seem to be many recent posts. I hope I haven't missed the boat on all the fun. Can someone tell me is there some sort of qualifying period for The Butler Did It sealed section? Hope to see you round. ..

Hello Hellouise, it's so nice to have you on board I love coming to this site where fans can share information about our favorite actor. These ladies put a lot of work onto giving us up to the minute information when they find it. I also hope all is going well with beating breast cancer, I will remember you in my prayers.
