Whoops. I meant Joy. I was reading your other post and just added this with the others. (nervous laugh) My bad for blaming you. (shyly backing away) Oh and don't step on the lit paper bag on your front porch. Just let it burn. (runs away quick with lollipop in hand) Tori.... Ha! Now I got that Watching song in my head. "You always feel like...somebody watching you.....lalalla"

Okay, I'm ready. It's late September when Gerry comes to visit me and when I pick him up we drive north to Duluth, Minnesota; there the fall colors are in abundance and I love seeing the leaves change. We would take the Isle Royale Boats, which will take us on a tour of the Lake Superior area and to the Isle Royale National Park. There we will see the many different colors and we could hike along the trails (I read that Gerry likes to hike, so he would enjoy this). After hiking, we would be hungry and tired. How about lunch at Hell's Kitchen? We would eat there and then visit the Split Rock Lighthouse, Glensheen Estate and the Great Lakes Aquarium. We would have dinner at Bellisio's Italian Restaurant, sitting and talking after dinner while sharing a chocolate lava cake for desert. *yawns* It's been a long day; time to tuck in for the night. We can reserve rooms at the South Pier Inn on the Canal; this hotel has spectacular views of Lake Superior. Because this is a platonic visit, we would have separate rooms. I would give him a peck on the cheek and a hug before going to my own room. The next day, we would get up early and take a drive along The Skyline Parkway; it overlooks the city of Duluth, the Duluth Harbor and Lake Superior and it's a great way to see the fall colors and bird migrations. There are stops along the way where we can stop and enjoy the scenery or walk along one of the trails, holding hands (no one said we couldn't hold hands ). After returning to Duluth, we can eat lunch and then it's time to drive back to Minneapolis and take Gerry back to the airport for his next stop. Before he heads to the gate, he gives me a kiss and a hug and asks a bystander to take a picture of us to mark the occasion. (Btw, I took many pics of him while we were in Duluth). Bye Gerry, it was fun and I will never forget the fun we had. *waves as he walks through the gates to his flight* I'll miss him.

Jeez JOY! Spill cold water on her why dontcha. Now she will be sad cause she had less time with him. (shakes head) Don't mind her LL, I'm sure GB had an excellent 24hrs with ya. (stifles a laugh) I'm sorry. That's mean. Not laughing cause of the dream, that was awesome by the way. I need to go visit Minn...but it was the fact that I could sooooo picture GB waiting at the airport and gives the flight lady his ticket and she looks at it and goes, "Ummm sir this is set for tomorrow. I'm sorry." GB would be cursing. "What da FUCK!? You sayin' I'm fuckin' early? SHITTTT!"

What? Really? Oh my goodness!
I race back to the airport, realizing that our time together isn't over; I find Gerry standing outside, waiting for a cab. I honk my horn and he sees me and smiles, climbs in and we make the best of our remaining time together before his flight tomorrow. We go to the Mall of America in Bloomington because Gerry wants to see what it's all about before he leaves. We eat dinner there at Bubba Gump (great food by the way, I loved it!) and walk around the three floors (fourth floor is just the theater, the only bar up there is Hooters and I am so not taking Gerry to Hooters) looking in at some of the shops and then we will go to the Underwater World on the lower floor. We return to Minneapolis and stay at the Marriot; Gerry decides to get a double room suite for us to share (we each have a separate bedroom, since this is platonic).
The next morning, we return to the airport and Gerry gets on the plane to his next stop.

I love how he stuttered while she was... showering... him with affection ; that is so a Gerry thing to do, especially with a woman being amorous with him. Very cute, Ava.
