blogs.herald.com/scene_in_the_tropics/2013/11/the-exhaustive-comprehensive-scene-chasers-art-basel-party-primer.htmlWednesday, December 4 Swiss watchmaker Roger Dubuis does a reverse commute with a Miami Beach Basel party and sit down dinner hosted by CE Jean-Marc Pontroué and "friend of the brand," actor Gerard Butler at the W South Beach. As for the art part, well, it has something to do with the art of horlogerie, which, although sounds like a fancy synonym for the study some of the clientele hanging out at various hotel bars in town, is French for watchmaking.Says the official spin, "The evening will be a celebration of Art showcasing the amazing Roger Dubuis Excalibur Quatuor, a feat in watchmaking and piece of Haute Hologerie at its finest, alongside the Jeff Koons’ designed Limited Edition Dom Perginon Bottles. The fashionable fête will feature an intimate crowd of A-listers, admitted by invite only. After the dinner, guests will be escorted into a private Dom Perignon themed after-party to keep the evening going." (BIO, for sure, though some crashers will inevitably ooze into the after party)

BOY!!!!our guy is really rubbing elbows with the elite. I think he is a class act and so do a lot of the upper echelon. I know a lot of you think G is in competition with MF, TH, and the like, but I think he is in a different class. He has an international air about him. Even thou we see something different because we follow close. Not everyone looks as deep as we. hee hee Well I'm back. Laptop fixed and I blame those Romanian sites. He is on a roll and looks great. Going into 2014 on a high.

Gerry is a class act. Roger Dubuis is aware of this and the reason he has Gerry representing his company for some events.
Gerry was at this art festival 3 yrs ago having a good time with his buddies. We had some nice photos of him roaming around. Hope we have the same luck this time!

I agree Gerry is in a different class, he has a special charisma, he always offers more than just a performance there is always a bit of himself on display as far as I am concern. I posted this new review of Chasing Mavericks in the news -don't miss reading this one because this reviewer not only appreciated Gerry's performance but the movie and it's message. As a producer I think Gerry would really be happy with this one. www.eclecticpop.com/2013/11/chasing-mavericks-movie-review.htmlshellie

Gerry looks extremely handsome. He does look very tired in the few photos we have seen from today. Wondering if he was up all night partying. It wouldn't surprise me.
Love all the new photos. Fun to see him playing poolside and now dressed so handsomely for the big party!

blogs.herald.com/scene_in_the_tropics/2013/12/artpocalypse-now-art-basel-brings-traffic-crowds-celebrities.htmlRoger Dubuis CEO Jean-Marc Pontroué and so-called “Friend of the Brand,” Gerard Butler, threw a private dinner Wednesday at a W South Beach private residence in “partnership” with Dom Pérignon. Guests got to drool over the watch that costs more than most crashers make in a year, the Roger Dubuis Excalibur Quatuor, alongside Jeff Koons’ designed Limited Edition Dom Perignon bottles. Among the invitees: Eva Longoria, Serena Williams and Karolina Kurkova. Following the dinner NY-based DJ Ms Nix hit the turntables—as did Butler— for the Dom-soaked after party.

Just looked at the black box and saw the exhibit I find most of it trash and the only thing I got out of it is a reminder I forgot to buy toilet paper. Am I the only one who feels this way? They call that art. Does it really take talent to do this?
