Goodness- release date is not until February 12 2016! I am going to be in terrible Gerry withdrawal unless he gets London Has Fallen shot ASAP and released in 2015. Hope he surprises with something new even before that.

Looks like GOE is having some difficulties - This article talks about contract deals with unions not being agreed to and Producers worried that it could affect the scheduled MARCH 24th start date.
Disappointing we read about this and also the fact that the start date isn't scheduled until March 24th,2014 and it could get delayed even longer if this is not resolved.
What a long time for Gerry to be off from filming,he will definitely be well rested and ready to go!

Thanks SD .... if the movie is all being shot in Sydney, that means Gerry will be out and about and visible I would think! au.ign.com/articles/2013/12/23/no-clash-of-the-titans-3-anytime-soon"IGN: Gods of Egypt, that's prepping, right? Iwanyk: Yeah, that goes March 23rd. IGN: I've seen that called the Clash of the Titans of… Iwanyk: It's like the Egyptian -- the simplest way to say it, because it's the Egyptians myths, is the world is a lot more through the eyes of Alex Proyas, so it's a lot more fantastical. We call it "Planet Egypt." We're shooting the entire thing on green screen in Sydney. But it'll be photo-real green screen, not stylized like 300. People will wonder, like, "Where the hell did you shoot that?" And it's a lot more of an adventure movie, like The Thief of Bagdad, those old movies. Clash was a very serious movie. Gods of Egypt I think is a lot more Raiders and Pirates than it is those movies. But it's an incredible world. So yeah, that goes on March 23rd. IGN: Are you concerned about -- I mean, shooting all green screen, it's unfortunate, but the negative standard bearer is the Star Wars prequels, which were all shot on green screen. But then you see something like 300, which obviously worked enormously well. Iwanyk: And Lord of the Rings. IGN: Is there a part of your brain that, when you first heard this idea, you kind of go, "Ugh"? Iwanyk: Not a part of it at all. You look at Gravity. I mean, those Star Wars movies were so long ago -- and I'm a Star Wars fan. I've been watching Star Wars with my son, who's five, a lot. Even in the first Star Wars, where they added in some of those visual effects elements, it takes you out of the movie. But that was a long time ago... in a galaxy far, far away. [laughs] We're coming out in 2016. The stuff now is so cutting edge and so real, I don't have that worry. It would shock you how many movies are now green screen, to people who don't even realize. Obviously, you build a little bit of it, but these days I'm not that worried about it. IGN: How much of the film will be green screen? Iwanyk: I mean, almost the whole thing."

How exciting to have Gerry out and about in Sydney for our Aussie fans to search out. I hope this really happens in March. Gerry has been off a very long time.
Maybe the Aussie fans can chirp in about the possibility of going to Sydney while Gerry is working there. It would be fun to keep posted on your plans to take a little trip to Sydney!
I suppose this means London Has Fallen gets delayed until summer or fall if it's going at all next year.
It will be so exciting to have him on a set again!

even though one of the icons of set is 'red desert' god....wouldnt it be cool for the green screen have an epical battle in the white desert....spearing that old serpent aptep?, one ancient tale has fierce battles with hippos and crocs.... the storyline IS going to be fantastic. i wonder if they'll bring in all the renditions of the story....motivation, motivation, motivation...we want to know why? daddy Ra favored the other son? wifey Isis desired? underling humans controlled exclusively?? the oldest story around...wanting what we do not possess and/or not giving up what we do...eh eh eh. there's so much iconary and symbolism with set...the film artists can go wild...especially if mostly filming in the land down under...the true 'red desert' place.... 'ayers rock' aka 'mt. conor'
