A few tweets about Gerry being at Villa Azur restaurant with Mel Gibson, Leonardo Di Caprio and Jonah Hill. Thanks Lifesrose for this pic web.stagram.com/p/381497423761128542_53180142Perhaps it could have been taken here villaazurmiami.com/la-cave-d%27azur/. A private dining room, which would explain why the tweets appear to have only come from people involved in the restaurant in some way. Seems to me Gerry has been photographed with his full annual quote of sultry brunettes in the past week

gossipextra.com/2013/02/01/mel-gilbson-gerad-butler-party-miami-2245/Lock the doors, pull down the blinds: Two of Hollywood’s classic hell-raisers are in South Florida! Hard-partying Lethal Weapon star Mel Gibson and 300 leading man Gerard Butler suddenly materialized in Miami yesterday, and were caught by paparazzi walking in the downtown sushi emporium Zuma. I’m told by a spywitness that the BFFs sat down for dinner with 10 other people. Later, Gibson and Butler quietly slipped out the back door and hightailed it the SoHo Beach House hotel in Miami Beach for some late night partying. Must be the start of a beautiful bromance! statigr.am/p/381808588289737883_200863328

A comment from our Russian sisters "Maybe this meeting with Gibson is not accidental? Mel Gibson is a project about the Vikings, tentatively called "berserk» (Berserker). Planned for the lead role of Leonardo DiCaprio, but he refused. Maybe our eyes turned to the boy? Who is the best in the world viking?? Certainly our Gerry!!" blogs.indiewire.com/theplaylist/mel-gibson-says-no-to-lethal-weapon-5-but-berserker-still-moving-forward-will-be-in-english-sort-of-20120813" In an interview with ComingSoon, Gibson revealed that his long-developing Viking movie "Berserker" is still in the works, and offered up a couple more details about the flick. "....I believe it's going forward. I've talked to actors and stuff, and there are some good names attached who want to do it," he said, while elaborating on previous reports that it would take a page from "Apocalypto" and be in defunct Old Norse and Anglo-Saxon langauges. "I'd thought about that at one time but then when you consider that English comes from the middle English language, it's not a big jump. I'll do something that's understandable for a modern audience. But it won't be the English they're used to." Gibson confirms that Leonardo DiCaprio has exited the picture, but overall, it looks like the script he's co-written with Randall Wallace is every bit as epic as you might expect. "I've got a great script. And the idea's been batting around my head for years. And I couldn't find a way to make it work, because if you look at what Vikings did, they're pretty unsympathetic. And there's no point in doing Viking light. So I had to find a way to find devices and ways to make that work dramatically, intelligently and make it seem realistic so it's about real conflict in a real era in the 9th century, so that you actually see behavior and a new mode of thought seeping in. By the 11th century there weren't any of these guys left anymore," he explained about the movie."

Actually I love Mel. He has said some stupid crap and I don't agree about the way he went out on his wife his whole marriage...... not cool, but I love his sense of humor. Gerry is Mel incarnate. Gerry is smart enough to know he'd be a philandering asshole if he got married like Mel was. Mel has the same sense of humor Gerry has but Gerry isn't prejudice. Mel and Gerry share the same type of good looks--very masculine-handsomeness and Mel at Gerry's age was just as good looking. Actually Gerry is a smarter version of Mel but they are still two men cut from the same cloth... Opinions:

I was just as hot for Mel as I am Gerry for years... It's bizarre to me to see them pictured together.... It's like father and son or at least two brothers.

I read that too! It would so wonderful to see Gerry as a Viking again! He was perfect in Beowulf and he would be perfect in a Viking movie.
