My husband is of German decent so after twenty years I must be German by injection now! I have an uncle, son of Germans and one of my best friends was married to a German, I like Germans. They are very organized and those things that I'm not HA! I like Germans too. One of my best friends when I was little was a girl whose parents both came here from Germany and I have really good memories of being at their house when I was a child. The church I belong to was founded by all German immigrants and s lot of the senior members are still alive and are the nicest people. My experience with German people has always be very positive. On a whole I have found that they are very direct and honest people. If you ask them for their opinion they give it without beating around the bush and I appreciate it. I have never met a German (immigrant) who wasn't a perfect housekeeper and wasn't a good cook, especially pastries. Also the first time I tasted Gummy Bears was when I was a kid and my girlfriend's Oma brought them for her from Germany. I also tasted those liquor filled chocolates. I should send a paypal payment to one of our German friends and get them to send me some of those liquor filled chocolates.

Oh mein Gott!!!!

I order all my german food items from them. This Christmas I orderd some of the chocolat brandy beans. 1 hour and all was history. German Deli has everything the german food nut needs. Ursi

Sorry to disappoint you Dianne, I am a horrible cook.... well, I don't really cook at all... And I don't drink beer. How bad is that for a German. But I guess my dad makes up for both of those things, great cook who loves beer... Gummibears... Yummy. Haribo macht Kinder froh und Erwachsene ebenso...

Loved the sausage, beer and Wienerwald chicken myself and without a doubt had a lot of fun in some beer halls in Schwabing. The woman who ran the pension where I stayed would scrub the stairs once a week, and we shared a kitchen and toilet. It was the cleanest place that I ever lived but it was six flights of stairs up. Wonderful trip and have some great memories.

The article is about Gerry's near death experience. He mentioned that while he was almost drowning he remembered that he just had talked to somebody who had a similar experience and had to get resuscitated three times. Gerry thought he would have the same faith but he was able to hang on and resurfaced with his last bit of strength. But be also said he can't wait to surf again because if the overwhelming feeling of happiness you feel when paddling out there. He adds that it's no wonder surfers always smile.

Leidenschaftslos?
