Wow , I'm so proud of Gerry, Will and Jada Smith hosted the Nobel concert last year . so this mean he's really considerd to be one of the big A listers. Finally our boy is getting some recognition. I just know that i'll do a great job and maybe after this more of his movies i'll shown in Norway. I hope Gerry feels that all his hard work has finaly paid of.
I just wished that i could afford to travel down to Oslo and meet him( i live on the north west cost 12 hours away) at the airport. I always wished that he would come back to Norway , because it's the only chance i get to meet him. Alas , my wallet isn't exactly bursting with money , so I'm really tight budget. Lately i have problems with fatigue as well cause of work. Oh well , it's not like i have 100% getting his autograph anyway. If i could afford it , i go anyway and had a spent a couple of day in Oslo on vacation.

Swannie ... you are 100% correct. He is well respected and valued by people that know him ... and those that know what kind of person usually comes out of Hollywood. Gerry is a good man and that's a rare thing in his industry. I'm very happy that he was asked to be a part of this celebration. And I'm very proud of him. wow!! oh yes, kaamie! couldn't have said it any better. so proud of gerry for presenting an offering to nobel laureate! it is an awesome endowement for excellent work in world peace. and its AWESOME that gerry is a part of that this year. i bet...when the day dawns...and the time is right, he'll have a lot to write about! he's met so many interesting people...little and big, small and not so small, from every walk of life, gerry's met. this is also, believe it or not...((gush gush gush)) what my beloved little irish nanna used to say....you can tell how a man walks by the way he entreats others...less or greater, all the same! bravo gerry. go forth & do! hmmmm hmmm!!

Well, I have to say that I agree with Swannie 100%. She didn't name any names and she was just stating her opinion as others have. We are all entitled to our opinions even though they may differ as long as we are nice to each other. I think we do all love Gerry, but some show it in a different way which I haven't yet figured out. I tend to try and be positive and optimistic and I guess some may call it "rose colored glasses", that is just me. I agree as well as isn't our differences in opinions that makes us all who we are? If we all had and shared the same thoughts and ideas, OMG life would be rather dull and boring not to metion very predictable. Besides, what's the saying...variety is the spice of life.....makes us all valuable and unique!

I am so happy for Gerry to have this honor to be part of this concert. He will be amazing as always!! I am not sure if the concert is shown on tv all over the world but maybe it is livestreamed! We'll have to figure this one out!! You go Gerry!!! We are proud to be your fans and love you! I'm pretty sure that the Nobel consert video will be shown on Norway's bigest newspaper website after they have done airing it. When they have , i can post a link here and translate when they speak in Norwegain ( the stuff that involves Gerry).

I think he was a good pick because of MGP. Most only hear about what goes on, Gerry made sure it was SEEN! Making this movie affected him, both physically and mentally. So even if it didn't get the attention he wanted, I think this is why he was a good choice as a presenter.
