Ajax, has anyone told you how funny you are ?? your comments always make me smile - have a nice day. Yeah Ajax you totally craic me up. Everyone on this site is great fun. Thanks sweethearts! Ha ha. Love reading stuff from both of you as well!! We gotta make our own fun in life, right? Might as well make it here! So, lets all go out, strap on some fake camel tails, and truck it to Cali...sound like a plan. Oh, and I have't forgotten...I have arranged for a nice paddle boat to come pick you girls up. I will be there in about 18 months...if I leave today. I had originally ordered a ship with a nice Italian captain, but those plans rolled over...haha *buh dum chee*

I just watched the making of this movie on page 3 and it said that Gerry was afraid to do the humpity hump with the camel because he was afraid it would really kick him and he'd get hurt and I find it ironic he didn't want to do the camel scene but he almost killed himself in the Ocean doing Mavericks.

So much fun to watch this again. And I learned something, too. The credits show that it is a "Film by Ariel Vromen" He directed, wrote the screenplay, exec produced, edited, etc. Someone commented about Gerry doing Jewel for a friend. Since I was luking here at WO las year I became familiar with Ariel, one of Team Gerry and one of the guys he hangs with.

I think they knew each other before and that's how they got Gerry to be in the movie, because they were friends already. Another friend of Ariel and Gerry, Ori Pfeffer, is in it as well. But I don't know how they met, I think it was a few years before in London, but just speculating on that. Another friend of Ariel and Gerry was at the camera, Mark Neveldine. Also known as the director of Gamer. I think somehow they all met a few years before, but I don't know the details.

Don't you love how all these connections appear over time? One of the things, paling beside Gorgeious Gerry himself, that fascinated me about following this man's career is how Hollywood and the film business operates. Also, forgot to say that the ending credits show Alan in the list of those who recieved "heartfelt thanks."
Interesting about Neveldine - I was too busy following the Ariel connection & didn't notice.
