rmc.demiandashton.org/gerard-butlerGerard Butler knows that REAL MEN DON'T BUY GIRLS The average age of entry into forced prostitution is 13 years old. Two million children are being bought and sold in the global commercial sex trade. The DNA Foundation aims to eliminate child sex slavery worldwide. The goal of the campaign is to educate people about child sex slavery and to create a cultural shift around the buying and selling of humans. Believing that freedom is a fundamental human right, the founders of DNA, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher, have enlisted the help of their friends to be the cornerstone of this educational campaign. Sean Penn and Gerard Butler, star of the hit blockbuster 300, have pledged to the cause. Now we are asking you to join the fight against human trafficking. Show that you are a Real Man or that you Prefer A Real Man by creating your own "Real Man" video starring YOU at facebook.com/dnafoundation and share it with your friends! To learn more about the issue and how you can get involved, visit demiandashton.org. Or go to our action tab at rm.demiandashton.org/actioncenter. And today Ashton thanked Gerry on his twitter twitter.com/apluskThankyou Gerard Butler for joining the #realmen campaign on.fb.me/fP2cu8 41 minutes ago via TweetDeck

thanks for posting this. the message is pretty clear. 'global' sex trade...hideous and aweful. romania and thailand were absolute worst case situations of stealing, drugging, selling then dumping. aweful, bad stuff. in the usa i think the majority of underage prostitution comes from the runaway population. basically, it stems from families in crisis and what are some ways to support the family. i am SO glad to hear the outreach from acters/actress putting a face, putting a voice to an otherwise shadowy actitivity..... it is always SO awesome that gerry was a part of this campaign, he gets to the point, i love that.....its a very sad situation stemming from multiple problems but much like jason, we CAN strike the spear into hydra's heart....one person at a time.....

don't mean to be rude or piggy-back on somebody' elses stuff (especially serious business)...but, the title of this hit me...just right "Real Men . . . "has this thought occurred to anyone else about what 'real men' will and won't do versus can and can't do? just askin'. a project for an upcoming doc film....'real men open jars'....or simply 'opening jars'....there are just certain things that 'men' can do and 'we' can not. its pretty obvious....gerry is the type of man who opens jars. i remember my little irish gma handing over all the jars to my gpa. when younger i thought, ' OMG...pa-leeze... i am woman hear me roaR'.... now, of course this has secretly become my standard for gauging a 'real man'...opening jars is way more than opening jars......
