Hi all!
I'm new, but it intrigues me...Gerry's right eye seems to have a small area where his pupil runs into his iris...no-one seems to mention it, but I find it another beautiful little trait that makes Gerry different.
Anyone else seen it?

Very interesting, GEL! Thanks for sharing. Can you explain why Gerry's eyes are much lighter when you meet him in person, than they appear in photos? When I met him they were icy blue-turquoise. Very light. Thanks again!

Gerry's eyes are the most amazing bedroom eyes around. I think it is a small bit of brown you are seeing in those phenominal peepers. If I may offer a more forensic explanation... In the DNA Gene pool world. Brown eyes are dominant and blue eyes recessive, meaning a child is more likely to get brown eyes than blue...HOWEVER...The Iris (colored part of the eye) regulates the amount of light that the pupil lets in. That’s its job. Color is a different story. If the iris has a lot brown pigment, then the iris reflects brown light just like a brown shirt and appears brown. BUT, if the front layer of iris cells have little or no brown pigment, the tiny loosely-organized iris cells react to blue light much more than with red or lower-frequency light. This causes the blue light to re-radiate & scatter out of the eyes. Those of us enjoying Gerrys eyes see the out-going blue light & see a blue iris. Blue eyes, however, differ from an albinos red eyes in that they don’t lack all brown pigment. They have normal pigment in the back layer of iris cells. Indeed, eyes of all colors have about the same amount of pigment in these cells, except an albino’s red eyes. Sometimes little flecks of brown will come through. Does that make sense? Attachments:

Swan...I redid my post to include one of the best pix of Gerry's eyes. His eyes are more aquamarine (green blue) than blue...I think it's a camera thing. My eyes are green, so that's what my iris' reflects. I also have brown flects. Gerry's eyes I would be willing to bet pick up both green and blue with more blue than green, giving the camera effect of more blue. Regardless of the expanation...those of us who love the eyes know he's got the best in the business.

Aquamarine blue eyes are clear, piercing blue-green and are very striking. There is usually almost equal ratio of yellow to blue (with blue slightly predominating) in the iris. Aquamarine blue eyes tend to resemble the clear tropical seas of the Pacific.
Hazel eyes predominant color seems to be a pale- to medium-golden brown, especially radiating out from around the pupil. However, they usually contain a lot of yellow and blue rays farther out in the iris that combine to look like green. So hazel eyes will have a brownish-green appearance.

The gold in his eyes kinda throws me and makes me wonder if maybe they'd be called hazel, but I'll take your word for it.

Anyone else seen it? Rachel x I noticed that a long time ago and I have always wondered if anyone else has seen it too or if it was just my own eyes playing tricks on me. Just another little perfectly perfect imperfection that he has.

I love love his eyes! They're definitely not hazel because hazel eyes are green/brown & Gerry's are green/blue.

While Gerry was having an interview in Dubai couple years ago he mentioned some accident during he was injured directly in his eye. Maybe this caused the spot. Whatever it is, his eyes are amazing.
