Doesn't he just look like a Greek god here... Chiseled features!! I liked this movie more than I thought I would! The story/history behind it is great - I LOVE mythology! The fact that Gerry was lead man made it all the better!! It KILLED me to see him pierced by all those arrows though :,(

Butler Scared Off 300 Sequel By 'Torture' Training Actor GERARD BUTLER is wary of reprising his role in 300 for a sequel - because training for the hit war film was like "torture". The Scottish star was killed off in the first movie, but director Zack Snyder recently revealed he has every intention of bringing Butler back for a follow-up. But the 41 year old is unsure whether he will be able to regain his bulky physique to play King Leonidas again. He tells Hollyscoop.com, "I don't know if I can ever get back in that kind of shape because I was ridiculous in that movie. I don't think I'd be capable of that again. "I know there is still talk of another 300 movie but I'm not sure if I have what it takes to torture myself like that again."

The 41-year-old Scot described his training to bulk up for the role of muscled Spartan King Leonidas as "torture". And Paisley-born Butler doubts he'd be able to recapture the incredible six-pack that launched him to worldwide fame. He said: "I don't know if I can ever get back in that kind of shape because I was ridiculous in that movie. "I don't think I'd be capable of that again. "There is still talk of another 300 movie but I'm not sure if I have what it takes to torture myself like that again." But the heart-throb has still been sporting a trim figure after regular workouts. He said: "I've been hitting the gym every day, and I try to train."

Seeing him talk out of the side of his mouth like that and the silky Scottish accent ... it makes my panties melt.

It is his man parts ... its his thighs of thunder, that impressive bulge, those thick biceps that takes two hands to span, eight pack abs and lickable nipples ... is it hot in here?

We know 300 has a cult status and this sure proves it chasevariant.blogspot.com/2011/01/lego-minifigs-series-2-spartan.html......Unique Features: Gerard Butler here sports a new rubber tipped spear that a massive improvement over the standard issue all-plastic ones from before. The haft and the spear tip are now separate pieces, with the top of the haft ending in a clear ring at the top end. The spear-tip is made of a a softer plastic, which is probably a new safety feature but also gives the weapon a great two-tone look that Lego spears have lacked so far......... Fun: 8/10 - You don't need a whole army of these guys for him to be cool. Just a handful would be great. You could then switch out the heads (there can only be one King Leonidas aka Gerard Butler ;]) and you'd have your own band of spear-wielding, ab-crunching heroes! So it's a *good* thing that I decided to get all of one single Spartan... -_-........ Value: 8/10 - Gerard here's got a big-ass crested helmet, brand new spear, a bronze shield and a crimson cloak. What more could you want? He's a Spartan!!! But also because he's a Spartan, there are no designs on his helmet and his shield, which looks like it could use a decal/sticker--it just looks a little bare.....

Thanks to Kami, some strange sequel news.... Both directors are Gerry's friends.... nymag.com/daily/entertainment/2011/02/warner_bros_offers_300_sequel.htmlWarner Bros. Offers 300 Sequel to Guy Ritchie If you’re like most of Vulture readers, you don’t need us to tell you that Xerxes the Great was the fourth Zoroastrian king of the Achamenid Empire. Du-uh. But what you do need your Vulture editors to tell you is that Warner Bros. has offered Xerxes — the sequel to Zach Snyder’s epic 300 — to none other than Sherlock Holmes director Guy Ritchie. Like 300 before it, Xerxes is based on one of Frank Miller’s graphic novels and had been developed by Snyder, who'd planned to direct his own script. So what gives? One theory is that Warner Bros. needs Snyder to bear down on Superman stat: Insiders say the closely-guarded script for Superman suffers from major third-act problems, and the studio faces a ticking clock on that franchise, legally speaking; if a Superman film isn’t in production by 2013, Warner Bros. loses the rights to the entire Superman franchise and would have to re-license it from its original creators — the estates of Detective Comics writers Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster — at great if not prohibitive expense. But there’s another theory: At a recent Warner Bros.—conducted audience research screening of Snyder’s Sucker Punch, the film tested poorly. Says one insider familiar with it, “It was bad; like, really bad. They’re [Warners brass] really not happy with it over there.” That, plus with Snyder’s last two films (Watchmen and Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole) having under-performed, some insiders posit that offering Ritchie Xerxes means that Warner’s ardor for all things Snyder may be cooling just a bit. Regardless, we’re pleased that Xerxes (a.k.a. King Ahasuerus) is heating up — and just in time for Purim! We have only one question: Cherry or apricot hamantashen, Guy?
