Well, as you probably know by now, filming is done and Gerry is gone. Don't know where as he talked to a girl on a flight to DC and she lives in FL? With Gerry, you never know. His hair looks amazingly just like it did when I saw him last May. Yummo!

His hair is a lot shorter in these pics (never posted before, hope this is the right way...) I Mak, welcome to the site. I hope you continue to post. We always enjoy chatting with new Gerry fans.

My french ancestors were one of the founding settlers of Quebec. My great (many greats....) grandmother was one of a gaggle of brides sent from France to marry the French male settlers and start families in the new world (Quebec area). My father along with a few other members of my family were able to trace our family tree back to the first male settler and what part of France he came from. All thanks to the Catholic Church that keeps AMAZING records. All they had to do was follow birth records, baptismal records and death records all kept by the church. Anyway, I got way off topic and I'm so glad to have you with us!!!!

Oh no! I'm so sorry, Dianne! I think it got lost in translation - or something. What I meant was that I live in that time zone. Stupid of me not to be more specific from the beginning. We just call CET Paris time. I am from Denmark about 50 miles from the German border. My nickname is Em (M) I am jealous of people of different descent - so exotic I am Danish through and through at least 230 years back (that's as far as the church records go) - not even German or British - or French. We are just so pale and homogenous (hope I am not offending anyone), so it is nice to come here and meet so many different people

Me living in the Detroit area, you should see the looks I get when I have traveled and said I was from Detroit. We Detroit area people make light of the bad reputation our city has. You can buy t-shirts the say, "In Detroit the strong survive but the weak are eaten" or "I went to Detroit on vacation and survived" The truth is that the surrounding area around Detroit offers a lot of fun things to do. Gerry loved the time he spent here. We have lots of clubs and night life and any short drive in any direction you can be at a friends cottage and sun on the beach or find yourself boating on a beautiful lake. Gerry was a kid in the candy store here. If he wasn't clubbing in metro Detroit's finest night spots he was surrounded by beautiful girls in bikinis at the beach.

Mak, I can totally understand you... I am all German as far as I know... And I find it pretty boring. I would love to find out that I have some non-German roots. Probably if I go back centuries I may find some Slavic and French but so far from what my parents found in their research... All German. Living in the US (but born and raised in Germany) I am fascinated by the mixture of cultures here.

Do we know which airport that photo of Gerry is from? Is it from today on his way out of Shreveport? I wonder where he's headed.

The tweeter is from Shreveport so my guess is that is the Shreveport airport. Just checked her twitter to see if she added some detail but nothing other that Gerry was very nice. Your guess is as good as mine to where he will pop up again. Should we start a pool?
