This shit just pisses me off. The man is playing a role. I do wish the extensions where a little less uniform. They should have shagged the longer back hair up a bit. Like he wore his hair in The Jury.

Not sure what the message of the photo is, better not be that the Dutch team are losers, they beat Brazil or maybe they needed some of these tough guys on Sunday?

This blog used the good picture bit.ly/cFpwDdInteresting Take, poor Gerry and the faux mullet debate but I found this funny Excerpt Why is there so much evil in that slender, greasy piece of mullet-toupee? And why do I still want to rub that mullet-toupee all over my naked body? Because I really don’t care at the end of the day. Mullet or no mullet, this man makes me crazy. In a really awesome way.

Oh my, Canadia! Why does the blogger's semi-gross reference to Gerry's penchant for buttery pastries (and other delicacies) seem sexy when she applies it to him??? Yum...

Two articles about fiming in Detroit Hollywood Came Filmed and Left Posted on July 14, 2010 by drheights48127 Hollywood came to our city filmed and left without getting a permit to do so. Yes we had to create this new licenses, and pass it as an emergency to make sure the city would benefit from this. So how did the city benefit no money for a permit, and we have to pay corporation counsel for all the work done on this, and don’t forget a full page add in the news paper about this. The city collected $0.00 dollars from Hollywood, councilwoman Horvath went to the casting call for the film, and no one was there. Maybe next time Hollywood comes to film in this city we will make some money. Who was the actor that was here filming? Why no other than Gerard Butler Press and Guide had a write up about this saying DEARBORN HEIGHTS — Filming of scenes for a movie starring Gerard Butler will be shot this month in the city. City Council passed an emergency ordinance June 22 to allow the filming. The film, “Machine Gun Preacher”, is being directed by Marc Forster. Michelle Monaghan and Michael Shannon are also cast for the movie. The movie is the story of Sam Childers, a former drug dealer who turns to religion and becomes a crusader for Sudanese children who’ve been forced to become soldiers. dearbornheights.wordpress.com/2010/07/14/hollywood-came-filmed-and-left/Not sure what they are complaining about but.... uly 15, 2010 detnews.com/article/20100715/OPINION03/7150414It's hard to hate movie invasion LAURA BERMAN On her Facebook page Wednesday, Andrea Morganroth described an early morning, surprise encounter with Gerard Butler, movie star, while she walked down a Birmingham street. They talked about restaurants. She suggested the Beverly Hills Grill. He listened.
It made her day. [Our note- no kidding and here she is bit.ly/93Nmes, right side] Small stuff, the movie star moments. But into the gray blur of seven years of bad luck and worse news that's befallen southern Michigan, the arrival of film crews and Hollywood-style hustle is hard to hate. This summer, from Northville to Dearborn to Ann Arbor to Grand Rapids -- well, all over the state -- moviemaking is more visible than that old standby industry, making automobiles. And more fun to watch than a blast furnace or the local screw works. "They're making 'Hung' in our park!" I heard from an 8-year-old boy the other day. He was talking about the droll HBO show about a male teacher moonlighting as a prostitute. At The Detroit News last week, where a nine-story employee garage suddenly sprouted signs written in Cyrillic, there was a certain amount of confusion. The garage -- ancient and gray -- had temporarily been elevated to new status as a Soviet hospital. The dilapidated structure suddenly seemed full of intrigue, realizing potential none of us who had cursed its 1929 mechanical elevator had ever sensed before. When Richard Gere strolled across the street, security guards who greet their regulars with polite nods were jumping out of character. "I love you Richard!" yelled Reshima Ward. She's upbeat anyhow but this time beamed for days. The combination of star power and new construction in downtown Detroit is irresistible -- in part because the city's vacancy rate is more apparent when the weather's nice enough to walk outside. Any activity becomes compelling, like the Chinese army that encamped down Lafayette last fall, or the new gym now being erected on Larned. I thought that's what it was when I stopped mid-saunter. An artful new sign had been erected across the upper level of the historic building. "Tallet's Gym," it proclaimed, suggesting some swank, yet hard-core, boxing gym whose signage attested to the money behind it. Could this possibly be a sign of real life and recreation in Detroit? Well, no. It's a movie set for the Hugh Jackman film, "Real Steel," although workers on the set say the garage has been converted to a boxing ring. On Gratiot near the Eastern Market, a mock New York subway stop entices would-be transit riders. Lots of companies are promising to bring new workers into Detroit. Quicken Loans has a huge sign plastered on a building wall, but the employees are still in Livonia. The moviemakers are using their faux dough -- taxpayers rebate 42 percent of the costs -- to make Detroit a stage. It's fake. It's fantasy. It's fun. I'll take it. Laura Berman's column runs Tuesday and Thursday in Metro. Reach her at lberman@detnews.com">lberman@detnews.com or call (313) 222-2032 Now apparently the Facebook thing happened a while ago but it was reported before, per Google.

July 13 2010 GERARD'S HAIRY RIDE ; the Razz By BEV LYONS SCOTS hunk Gerard Butler spent hours perfecting his six-pack for the movie 300, but it looks like combing over the scripts for his latest movie have just left him with a bad hair day. The Paisley-born actor seems to have gone all trailer trash on us as he showed off a less-than-sexy mullet and beard during the filming of new film Machine Gun Preacher. The movie tells the real-life story of Sam Childers, a former drugdealing biker tough guy who found God and became a crusader for hundreds of Sudanese children who were kidnapped and forced to become soldiers. It also stars Michelle Monaghan, who shot to fame in Mission: Impossible III. Fans will be delighted that Gerard's new biker look gives the sexy 40-year-old a chance to show off his bulging biceps. But they'll be hoping that it's a case of hair today and gone tomorrow as far as Gerard's dodgy barnet is concerned. (c) 2010 Daily Record; Glasgow (UK). Provided by ProQuest LLC. A service of YellowBrix, Inc. www.californiachronicle.com/articles/yb/147334478?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitterDoes this idiot, Bev, not realize that she is really dissing Reverend Sam Childers. Remember that Gerry manscaped for his role in 300 to play a Spartan King, he is sporting a mullet in this film to portray a man who was a biker and had sported a mullet... then again, most men did at that time. Duh! Gerry is not a man to manscape, as we all know, and I doubt he would normally sport a mullet unless it was for a role. I'm afraid that we're not going to stop hearing about the whole mullet issue... even after they finish filming; we'll hear this again when the film comes to theaters next September.

From July 17, 2010 Butch Baker Sells Cupcakes For Manly Men uk.news.yahoo.com/5/20100717/tod-butch-baker-sells-cupcakes-for-manly-870a197.htmlA New York businessman is changing the image of the cupcake as a sweet treat for girls into a must for men. Butch Baker Sells Cupcakes For Manly Men Play video Cute, Burberry edition. Former lawyer David Arrick has come up with the Butch Bakery, making cupcakes especially designed and baked for men. His £2.70 creations do not come in standard vanilla and chocolate flavours. "We have the beer, the beer run, which is a beer cupcake," he said. "We've got a salted caramel cupcake, it's the salt and the sweet. They go great together. "We've got a great banana, peanut butter with crushed bacon, so if you think about it, it's kind of like the Elvis sandwich, you know, peanut butter, bacon, and banana, we've got a cupcake that has that. "We've got a cupcake that has whisky. It tastes like a B-52. "We've got a coffee flavoured, coffee-infused, which is with some Kahlua, so a nice coffee cupcake. That's a huge hit for us." The businessman said the idea came to him after he lost his job as a Wall Street lawyer in 2008. After months of unsuccessfully looking for work, he decided to try something new and after a little market research, decided to create cupcakes, but not the typical kind. "That's how Butch Bakery was born, I thought they are all very feminine and pink and a lot of them are frilly with jelly beans and sprinkles, and I thought I wanted to do something very different, and I decided to something with a masculine bent to it and that's how I came up with the idea," he explained. Butch Bakery markets itself as making "manly cupcakes for manly men," but the former lawyer said they would appeal to anybody who had a taste for something new. "I think that we eat with our eyes first before our stomachs and I think that it's got to be visually appealing, and I wanted something that was going to have an impact from the beginning, right when you see it," he said. Business is growing fast. Since opening in November 2009, business has grown about 500% despite the economy with the bakery selling about 500 cupcakes a week. The aim is to quadruple that. "The response has been overwhelming, all around the world, media response from all around the world, I get orders from all around the world from as far away as Australia as a matter of fact," he said. Ironically, most of the customers are women. __________________________ They clearly need to contact Gerry, LOL.
