Every-time i see a preview for a new file, I think " why isn't Gerry in this movie?"..why? catty, more and more, even after all this time paying attention to gerry's life....even today i feel the same way. wondering...why isn't gerry in this role? what about that one? dont we see him in every thing? Oooooooh m.night shyamalan....LOL being an overnight worker i catch some cable TV and the new show 'duck dynasty' grabbed me. LOL everybody wants to be a good ol' boy now. eh eh eh..honestly, sincerely...i kinda rather like the long hair, beards, glasses, caps...sarcastic southern humor. xoxoxo ((shucks, they're all married cept little ol' unkle sye..hmmmm.....)) anyway... SO, given this iconic cult 'look' I BET gerry would look fabulous as a redneck duck dude, all hot & sweaty, hairy, riding his bike, bushwacking, down home cooking & croc wrestling. say, they should make a film about the duck dynasty boys...with gerry front & center....louisianna style an all, y'all...like 'heat of the night' with a twist! xoxox

Off Topic
Since it is only 51 days until Christmas wanted to post this. Was wondering if anyone would like to know if anyone would be interested in doing a Gerry Butler Christmas card exchange with other Gerry fans out there. It was a lot of fun last year. I think I got about 20 cards from other fans of his.
If you are please let me know and I will get it started either the week of November 18 or the week of November 25. I still have the list of the people that I sent cards to and if anyone is interested I will post the address on here

She popped in to thank people for their birthday wishes last week As I said to you when you asked me Catty, Dianne is busy with family and real life at the moment (as happens with most of us at some time or another)... no cause for worry or alarm! In the meantime, you have admins Elenoire and Daisy and we friendly mods to keep things going .... dreadful task, searching for all these luscious pics and snippets of news, but we carry on regardless

Gerard Butler: Copter crash efforts ‘made me proud’
Source: pagesix.com/2013/12/06/gerard-butler-copter-crash-efforts-made-me-proud/Gerard Butler spoke of the tragic helicopter crash in his hometown of Glasgow, but said of the rescue effort, “It made me proud to be Scottish.”Nine were killed and 32 injured on Friday night when a police helicopter crashed into the pub Clutha, which was packed with about 120 people listening to live music. Rescuers went into the unstable building for those trapped in the rubble. The “300” star, whose mom, Margaret, lives outside Glasgow, told Page Six, “I was talking to my mum about it today. It was heartbreaking, anything from my home city touches me . . . I hate hearing about the tragedy, but at the same time it makes me proud to be Scottish and especially to be from Glasgow, because, my mother was saying how proud she was of all the people who had gone back in (the roof had just collapsed) to help people out.”Butler hosted the lavish Roger Dubuis and Dom Perignon dinner Wednesday in Miami Beach, but he said he could not attend any other events around Art Basel as he is planning a charity trip. “It’s been a busy time for me. I am going to Liberia with an organization called Mary’s Meals [which sets up school feeding projects in some of the world’s poorest communities]. We are making a documentary, as we [visit] the schools.” In a movie star moment, Butler was escorted into the soiree by Challenger, a huge, tame bald eagle who lives at Dolly Parton’s Dollywood, and was there as the symbol of watchmaker Dubuis’ Excalibur collection. Butler got the party going by getting into the DJ booth with DJ Ms. Nix and mingled with fellow guests including Eva Longoria, Karolina Kurkova and her husband Archie Drury, Serena Williams and Jonathan Cheban and effortlessly charmed every woman in the venue.

www.people.com/people/article/0,,20763142,00.html Gerard Butler: Paul Walker's Death 'Just Broke My Heart'Like so many others who knew Paul Walker personally, Gerard Butler is mourning the untimely loss of the actor. The two costarred together in 2003's Timeline, and Butler says that news of this weekend's fatal car crash "just broke my heart." He calls Walker "one of the nicest people I've met." Butler was in Miami during Art Basel for a private dinner celebrating luxury watchmaker Roger Dubuis in partnership with Dom Perignon on Wednesday. And he not only discussed his upcoming London is Rising role as secret service agent Mike Banning, but as a real-life hero in an incident that took place 20 years ago. "This kid I saved when he was 13, basically he was drowning," said Butler, 44. Now grown up, this same fellow "just got married in England, and he wrote me the most beautiful email, so I recorded a message for his wedding basically saying I feel like I've been here for all the most important times in your life." Speaking earlier this year to Scotland's Daily Record, Butler recalled of the incident: "I was with my mother and we suddenly heard this screaming. ... I looked around and nobody else had paid any attention, so I thought, 'Am I imagining this?' "So ... I look into the water and this kid is just disappearing, moving down the river. I went in and I pulled him out, and there was a scary moment because I've never had to save anyone's life before. I didn't really know what I was doing. But we got him out and he wrote me a letter afterwards." Said Butler, "It was a really beautiful note just saying thank you for taking the time."
