The R&D (Rumors & Development) department of many newspapers in India (including TOI) is chasing Priyanka Chopra & Gerard Butler now. It is quite true that Butler was smitten by this ex Miss World, and he even bend down on his knees to propose her, but that was more of a good humor. And that thing is almost passé because Priyanka herself denied all rumors. Now, they have reported that Gerard has come to met her again in New York, where she is shooting for Anjaana Anjaani. They have also spent a whole day together. .“Priyanka and Gerard met each other very warmly and spent time together.” Revealed a friend of Priyanka (no, you will never know who that friend is!) Gerard also spent a lot of time with Priyanka on the sets of Anjaana Anjaani, and he not only took interest in shooting of the movie, but he mixed up with the cast and the crew of the movie. Still, does it prove anything? If meeting and spending time makes two person a couple, then Shilpa Shetty must have become a mother of Richard Gere’s child by now…..remember he kissed her on stage!! Yes, Gerard once said, when he asked about marrying an Indian girl, that he would love to, but Priyanka is already engaged, but that was more of a sporty. The funny thing is, Newswallahs are saying that Priyanka has parted ways with Shahid Kapoor(when they had shared the path by the way!!), and now she is dating Gerard now. I must say that last spring when Gerry was in India I believe this is one of the few gals that he was rumored to be connected with that had some substance. I do think there was something there. There's a picture she took with of the Gerry and the kids from Slumdog and that man is clearly smitten. His face was flushed. I've see people bitten by the love bug and Gerry definitely had it bad.  |

This is the only rumor that has a grain of truth to it. Although I suspect it ran it's course for the most part . It seems that Gerry has not made a lot of effort except for one set visit a couple of weeks ago to be near Priyanka at all.
The rest of the romance crap about Gerry is well, crap!

Thanks Chickie, Karma for you. The first picture is the one I was referring too. If that is not a man smitten then I have never seen one. He is practically glowing. Don't you agree? I saw slumdog and those kids were sweet. Look how lovable they are, children aren't fakers.  |

He is GLOWING and so is she when she is addressing her friend. They seem smitten with each other and I totally agree that Paprika is the ONLY girl/rumor that we can say had real substance. I think it fizzled for the reasons I have stated many times, but there was 'something' between these two.
Women have great intuition and think about it...we LOVE Gerry on this board and she is the ONLY girl we have seemed to all worry about or fixate on as the real deal for Gerry. We have never been threatened or concerned about Kate Hudson, Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Simpson, Lindsey Lohan and the countless others...but with PC, we have paused. Its because we are women and smart and know this man and know that this is the girl that struck a cord, a REAL cord with G...this was NOT a rumor!!!

Look at the eyes in this picture, Gerry was looking at Paprika's camera. Yep Prince, he really courted her. I believe him saying he would marry an Indian girl was meant for her to hear through the media. Gerry knew that remark would get to her ears eventually..silver tongued devil. And I believe when he got down on his knee and proposed at that party... well he was joking and I'm sure everybody laughed but.... I wonder what happened? What scared him off? You know her steady boyfriend was at that party as well. I bet he wanted to pound G! Can you imagine being a guy and Gerard Butler making blatant plays for your girl friend? Paprika and her boyfriend broke up soon after....could her being free cooled Gerry's fascination for her? we'll never know,  but you are right something was there. |

Anyone else thinking about pluck out her hair, one hair at a time ? No..? It's just me...? Well, i can live with it.....! It's something in my DNA, i swear...when i see her a living part of Leonida's troops is rising in every cell of me shouting " Give her nothing ( let alone our Gerry) take her everything !!!"  As about their hands, i can see that HER hand is casually on her left thigh, while Gerard MAYBE is making some advances....or maybe not. I'll tell you what bothers me about her....all these Indian ex- Miss Universe - "actresses", as much of actresses as i'm a mathematician, seem the Queens of the Fake in my eyes....not to mention the Queens of Kitch ! Maybe it's my own, eclectic eye, trained in European aesthetic, Italian fashion, Scandinavian design, French elegance and Greek light.  |

They met the Slumdog kids, I read he even met her Mother at one point! Then the minute Gerry took off for the Himalayas the boyfriend was dropped.
If there is anything happening now it's all on his terms, being kept as quiet as possible. Gerry has been out and about flirting and kissing other women, so it's seems to me he's not seeing anyone exclusively. In other words keeping his options open.
Gerry's fascination with her is partially mixed in with his love and interest in Indian culture. Just like some of us became interested in Scotland because of Gerry.

not sure what to think myself. love the indian culture and have some friends (men & women) whom i love dearly....very warm, down to earth, matter of fact, no frills, heady, fun loving people.
i jus wish priyanka didn't blow that rapper guy and then had it post all over the interent(probably a leak). (shrugs)...kinda changed my attitude toward the girl a little...y'know...nobody's perfect...but....(gak)
